Glass Filled Nylon Dome Head Stopping Plug

Redapt PD-E4 Series of Dome Head Stopping Plugs provide a method of blanking off unused entries in hazardous area approved equipment whilst ensuring the integrity and Ex approval of the installation is maintained.

Dome Head Plugs are designed to be installed with a hex (Allen) key from the outside of an enclosure and are supplied complete with a captive o-ring seal. The o-ring is located within a recess on the face of the product, helping to protect the o-ring from environmental damage and ensuring it is not displaced during installation.

Redapt Dome Head Stopping Plugs are designed for hazardous area applications and are certified to protection concepts Exe “Increased Safety” for use in Zone 1 and Zone 2 applications.

Approved to the latest international standards stopping plugs can be supplied with ATEX (CENELEC), IECEx, and GOST-R hazardous area certificates.

In addition CSA approval certificates can be supplied to cover use in North American and Canadian Class I Division 2 and Class I Zone 1 applications.
