Redapt UN-D and UF-D Series of Unions provide a method of matching electrical threadforms on hazardous area approved equipment whilst ensuring the integrity and Ex approval of the installation is maintained

Manufactured as a three-piece assembly to facilitate easy in-line installation, they provide a running joint whilst eliminating exposed threads.

They can be manufactured with either the same connection thread or a differing size and or threadform to enable installation.

UN-D Series of unions provide a male to female threaded connection

UF-D Series of unions provide a female to female threaded connection.

Redapt Unions are designed for hazardous area applications and are certified to protection concepts Exd “Flameproof” for use in Zone 1 and Zone 2 applications.

Approved to the latest international standards unions can be supplied with ATEX (CENELEC), and GOST-R hazardous area certificates.

In addition CSA approval certificates can be supplied to cover use in North American and Canadian Class I Division 1 and Class I Zone 1 applications.
