90° Atex Adaptor – (AR-D Series)
Redapt AR-D Series of 90° Adaptors are designed to provide a method of facilitating cable entry, through a cable gland or conduit, where space limitation precludes conventional entry.
The design also provides protection for the cable which may be subjected to increased bending stress during installation.
The AR-D Series also serves as a method for matching different electrical threadforms on hazardous area approved equipment whilst ensuring the integrity and Ex approval of the installation is maintained.
They are available with either Male x Female or Female x Female connection threads and can also be used to adapt or reduce the entry thread size of the enclosure or equipment.
Redapt 90° Adaptors are designed for hazardous area applications and are certified to protection concept Exd “Flameproof” for use in Zone 1 and Zone 2 applications.
Approved to the latest international standards, 90° adaptors can be supplied with ATEX (CENELEC), IECEx, and GOST-R hazardous area certificates.
